Semaglutide shouldn't be taken by people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). It should also not be taken by people who are allergic to semaglutide or any of its ingredients. It's also not recommended if you have a history of pancreatitis, severe gastrointestinal problems, diabetic retinopathy, or gallbladder disease. You should always consult your doctor for a full assessment before starting semaglutide to ensure it's safe for you.
