For adults and children aged 12 years and older, the labeled directions for Robaxacet Extra Strength are:
Take 2 caplets every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 caplets within 24 hours. Each caplet contains 500 mg acetaminophen and 400 mg methocarbamol. The label states it should be used only on a doctor’s advice.
Swallow the caplets with water. Important precautions:
- Do not combine it with other products containing acetaminophen or methocarbamol.
- Avoid alcohol, driving and operating machinery because it may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
- Speak with a doctor if pain lasts longer than five days or worsens.
- Ask a healthcare professional before taking it if you have liver or kidney disease, take warfarin, sedatives or antidepressants, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
