Clobetasol should not be used on the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically directed by a healthcare provider, as these areas are more sensitive and prone to side effects from potent corticosteroids. It should also not be applied to areas of the skin with untreated bacterial, viral, or fungal infections. Additionally, it should not be used on broken or infected skin.
