Eucreas, a combination of vildagliptin and metformin used to treat type 2 diabetes, may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. Some patients may also experience dizziness, headache, or low blood sugar. Rare but serious side effects include pancreatitis and lactic acidosis.
