Aristocort R Cream 0.1% (triamcinolone acetonide) is generally applied in small quantities to the affected skin 3 to 4 times daily, according to the Canadian prescribing information.
Apply only a thin layer and use it for the duration prescribed. Prolonged use, especially on the face, large areas of skin, or under airtight dressings, can increase the risk of skin thinning and systemic corticosteroid effects.
