Propalin (containing phenylpropanolamine) usually starts to work within a few days of starting treatment in dogs. Some improvement in urinary incontinence may be seen as early as 1–2 days, but it can take up to a week for full effect. Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions and report any concerns.
