For the common ipratropium bromide 0.5 mg + albuterol 2.5 mg per 3 mL nebulizer solution (often called DuoNeb), the usual adult dose for COPD is 1 vial by nebulizer 4 times a day, generally spaced through the day. The prescribing information allows up to 2 additional 3 mL doses in 24 hours if needed, but you should follow the exact schedule your prescriber gave you.
Don’t routinely use it more often or in larger amounts without medical guidance.
