The seven classes of antiviral drugs are nucleoside and nucleotide analogs, non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs), protease inhibitors, integrase inhibitors, entry or fusion inhibitors, neuraminidase inhibitors, and uncoating inhibitors. Each class targets a different stage of the viral life cycle to prevent viruses from replicating and spreading.
