Elestrin (estradiol) gel should be applied once daily to the skin of the upper arm and shoulder area. Spread it in a thin layer over the upper arm up toward the shoulder, on clean, dry, unbroken skin.
Avoid applying Elestrin to the breasts, face, or in/around the xxxx . After applying it, wash your hands with soap and water and allow the gel to dry before covering the area with clothing. If swimming, the prescribing information recommends waiting at least 2 hours after application.
Use the number of pump actuations prescribed by your healthcare provider; the usual label directions are 1 or 2 pumps daily.
