NINLARO (ixazomib) is usually taken once a week on the same day and at about the same time, for the first 3 weeks of a 4-week (28-day) cycle. The fourth week is typically a break from NINLARO.
Take NINLARO on an empty stomach—at least 1 hour before or at least 2 hours after food. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or open it. If you also take dexamethasone that day, do not take it at the same time as NINLARO because dexamethasone should be taken with food.
If you miss a dose, take it only if your next scheduled NINLARO dose is more than 72 hours (3 days) away. If you vomit after taking a dose, do not take another capsule; wait until your next scheduled dose.
