There is no fixed maximum length of time that you can stay on Evorel Conti (estradiol/norethisterone). Some people use it for several years, provided it continues to control menopausal symptoms and the benefits outweigh the risks. The NHS recommends reviewing HRT with a healthcare professional at least once a year.
Evorel Conti is a continuous combined HRT patch used after menopause. Longer use of combined HRT can gradually increase certain risks, particularly breast cancer, so factors such as age, personal and family medical history, and ongoing symptoms should be reviewed regularly.
In general, the goal is to use the lowest effective dose for as long as it is needed rather than stopping automatically after a set number of years.
